Hi Folks, this was a strange week. I had 4AF days but my numbers were very high the other days and I am not happy about that. Seems when I start to drink I just don't stop and that is no change from before I started tsm. The four days were not a problem for me. I had a slight craving but it passed, anxiety was up
and that is what I call a craving. I wanted to give my body a break from the alcohol since I do get hangovers
that kind of force me to drink the next day just to survive it. I am hoping to do better this week. I had a huge family situation this weekend and drank through it! Forgot to alter signature line so will do that next. In the meantime, can't loose this since the keyboard is definitely going here. WK 14 32 units 4AF days

WTE, yeah but you don't get hangovers and are still gorgeous, lol! I am hoping to do better this week and I know that even if tsm doesn't do the trick for me this board has made a difference and held me accountable for what I drink via the units posted. I am now very aware of what I am doing and it seems to help. If I could get away with it I would probably still be drinking daily but feel a need to have some AF days right now. Thanks for your encouragement.

I know, I know, just that well you know this week has been a bit bad! I will hang in there. Love that graph and didn't understand a darn word AJ said about creating it myself, lol. Should really take a computer course at some point!

From 60 to 100 in a week to 32!!! As my dearly departed dad used to say, "It doesn't get any better than that!" OK, OK, it could be a little better, but judging from your trend line, it inevitably will get better! Congratulations my friend!

Thanks Nick, yes last week was a really good week unit wise. Not so sure about this week though, will see.
I should change that figure though, it was a wild guess on the units. It really was probably at the highest 70 units in a week on a real out and out binge, still a lot higher than 32!

FB and I had big drinking weeks recently but are following them up (so far) with a big reduction. Hopefully this will happen to you too.

LaBear,

You're doing great - I just LOVE these graphs! It's so encouraging to see an overall downward trend when individual weeks can jump all over the place, and the bad ones can make you think TSM isn't working. As they (whoever they are)say, a picture is worth a thousand words. SO happy for you! :D

Thanks Kris, nice to see you checking in. I know summers are busy for you but have missed your long posts. Will see more of you this fall with more success for both of us! Cheers :P

Hi Folks, just catching up on this weekend's posts. I don't usually post on my weekly progress because I really haven't felt any. This weekend was different and not really sure if it is anything. On Friday I had 8 glasses of wine and usually that would not affect me much. I awoke on Saturday feeling horrible and usually, to alter the affects of a terrible hangover ,I will start drinking all over again. Since it was the weekend it is my habit to have drinks with my husband. He was picking up beer for himself and I did not want to touch wine. I had 4 beers all day long and really just sipped on them and didn't really enjoy them at all. On Sunday we were going to a sort of reunion party and brought some more beer. I had 3 beers from 12:00 til 8:00 pm and 1 glass of wine! The beer tasted awful to me and I really was practically drinking it warm by the time I finished it. It was just something to do. The wine tasted good but I just stayed away and came home totally sober not wanting anything else. My cravings were way down both days and the beer just didn't do a thing for me sooo......not sure if it was the switch in drinks, the hangover or something happening. I am hoping for the later but only time will tell. Boy, did it feel good to even think this might possibly work for me!
