I STILL sometimes take my cans in a bag and dump them at work - not sure why - it isn't as if the rubbish man looks in the recycle bin ! Guilty conscience I suppose ......

Welcome back Maggie,
Hope u survived the travel ok and shared some good moments with your mom.
I always empty our recycle bin before anyone, even the cleaning lady comes over. She arrived as I was doing it once. It was overflowing. "Dinner party last night!" best I could think of as I cringed and carried on past her to the bin. Awkward. I'm sure she doesn't care, I do. Ah the things we do, the shame we feel.
Bravo on AF days!

Oh Terez - I so understand how you felt ! One day my friend from down the road came over - as I looked out the back door, I saw that something had been in the recycle bin - a raccoon or something and there were Guinness cans EVERYWHERE! The shame !!!!! I can feel it to this day !!

Thanks for the welcome back and yes I had a great time thanks. Not as many AF days this week - but am not too worried - this is all a WIP (Work In Progress)'

It making you giggle Jaba made me smile - looking back it was funny - later I did comment on it to her - and she said 'I never even noticed' but I am not sure if she was being polite ! Ironically enough although I did not know it at the time she was an alcoholic - and had not had a drink for five years !

Laughed at the reason for you not doing the recycle thing ......

When I met UKB in London - she said that looking at me she would never have taken me for a drinker - let alone Guinness !!! Or something along those lines anyway .....
