Thanks Jaba - I e-mail with a friend daily and he said that my e-mails are coming across as breathless, frantic and stressed ! I have to admit that I am feeling that way ..... the kitchen remodel doesn't help either - I shall be so glad when life gets back to normal! I also know that I have not been very good at posting on here too .....

Hugs, Maggie xx

I agree that you need to study your progress. you've made a lot! I know you feel differently about AL, and you have plenty of stress happening right now. it'll get better because you deserve it.

hugs, zontar

Thanks Zontar - yes it is hard when I see my figures going up instead of down - I have to add in last weeks and the weeks before yet and they definitely went way up!! I know ..... patience and faith ....

Okay - had a mini meltdown yesterday - got myself all upset but at least it is out of my system now. I am feeling much better today! I am going to try and be more aware of what I drink - well, not so much what - but the amount ! I automatically have four .... that needs to try and be changed. Especially as my 4 is slowly going back up to 5 daily! Jaba gave me lots of suggestions but I am not sure I have the discipline to do what she suggested - but I am going to try and aware. I am also going to stop worrying about this and just keep on! It matters not if it takes me two years - I will just keep going, keep taking the Nal and I know I will get there in the end. When I took Topa, I thought it was never going to work - and then all of a sudden, one day it did ! But it took me a lot longer than most folk for it to work and it seems that it will be the same with the Nal - so be it - I can handle that and will be fine !

Hugs to all, Maggie xx

Thanks Jaba - yesterday I did try and make the first glass last way longer than usual instead of gulping down the first half and grabbing a 2nd before I even sit down - so that might work! And I will not take a 2nd with me when I sit down or whatever I am doing - I will finish the fiorst before I even consider a 2nd ! That is way too much habit !! Thank you my friend,

Hugs, Maggie x

I am glad that you are feeling better today, Maggie. Ignore if this is too personal...If Topa worked for you, why are you now on Nal? Did it stop working?

The Topa did work Deena - for 8 months and I did not drink. However I had to go up to 300mg which is the highest dose - and at that level I had severe depression ! I put up with it as long as I could but after 8 months had had enough ......so stopped it - then thought that I could just have one drink - and we all know where that leads to!!!

Hugs, Maggie x
