Badger - you are not tracking !! I think that you are getting discouraged - please try not to - just keep plodding on and faith that it will work - no matter how long it takes ! Some folk here have suddenly been cured after two years so who knows how long it can take - I do feel differences - please do not give up !! Go back to tracking and follow the golden rule and try and force some AF days - I feel so much better when I have them. Look into adding DHM to your Nal - Google it and see - some studies have been done that show that it might help lessen the desires in drinking .....

Hi Maggie! You are doing fantastic! Wow! I am really impressed! Looks like we both have had a major breakthrough about the same time! Sorry for taking so long to get back on the boards but it has been a busier summer than usual. Very happy for you!!!

Well - things are going really well - had 5 AF days this week and only 3.5 drinks ! I think I have turned a corner - not sure yet - it is an odd feeling - almost surreal - I do not want to drink - the two days that I did I did simply because that is what I have done for so long ! Old habits die hard!

LOL Reboot - what that means is that you are very early days yet!! Truly - you will get there - you have to have patience and faith !! I am still not there - but definitely getting there ! Thanks for the comments !

Why are you going to a bar if you do not intend to drink? Actually never mind - my husband does that when he stops drinking .... he just goes to be there for a little while.
