Thanks Badger .... I still find myself slightly gobsmacked by the 12 total for the week, and having had 4 yesterday am already thinking which days will be AF this week to keep my intake down !

Hugs, Maggie

Planning ahead, which is good to see.

Eventually you may find that you simply get used to not drinking, it becomes part of a new routine. Or should I say you might get used to not having alcohol in your days.

Thanks Jephiner.....how much were you drinking pre Nal? I know that my thinking and mindset is VERY slowly changing....plus I am putting more effort in I think, and the Nal does make it slightly easier !

Hugs, Maggie

Hi Maggie - thanks for posting on my thread. I've just been reading right through yours and I've decided to follow your path. I've just taken 1/4 of an AB - so that's me done for today - no question it's an AF one!

I'm interested to know how you have managed your drinking whilst taking AB - ie: if you take it in the morning and have an AF day that day, is it safe to drink in the evening the following day? To be honest I'm terrified of AB - I had a bit of a panic attack when I took the 1/4 (as I had a skinful of wine last night).

I'm thinking that if the NAL has worked it's stuff and taken away or reduced the addiction - then AB will help me address the habit side of things. I'm really impressed with your progress and how you've managed things. Hoping I can get some of that under my belt too - thank you for your thread, it's inspiring.

Snapdragon, thank you for the lovely post. I am so happy to hear that you took the AB and will have an AF day....your body will thank you. What I used to do was take it early while my resolve was still high....any later and I would change my mind.

Hugs, Maggie x
