Hello everybody.

I am new to TSM and just wanted to briefly introduce myself. After struggling with AA and abstinence for a while, I began looking for other options.

I first came across info. on the Sinclair Method in Wikipedia, which caused me to further research the subject on the internet. I eventually bought the book and read it. Coming from a science background it made sense to me. Pure and simple.

Before implementing this method three weeks ago, I was not drinking too much (10 units/week) but I was in danger of relapsing to my old drinking behavior. Now that I am on TSM I am drinking more, however I do recognize a definite decrease in the intensity of my cravings once I start to drink. Naltrexone is pretty amazing stuff.

Anyway, I hope that extinction is in my future and, along the way, I will share my experience, strength, and hope with all of you. Thanks!

I'm new as well ebass. I had a few different stints with AA and 1 out patent treatment program myself. I met alot of great people there but it never worked for me for very long. If you ever want to talk I'm here.

Welcome ebass, we're here to help if we can and post often. We all have different stories but we all have one in common so hang on it can be rough as we all try to find our way with tsm to come to sanity.
