Zontar - my birthday was Monday - and we (daughter and hubs and I) went out to breakfast! Apart from that we really did nothing - I was off work that day too - but it was a nice quiet day - I love birthdays but was rather flat for some reason - but have bounced back and am fine again! First one in YEARS that I did not drink - had no desire to at all!

Thank you TTC - yes it is amazing and I still smile when I think of it - initially I kept expecting to wake up the 'next' day and find things had gone back to how they were - but as time passes, I am beginning to accept that this IS here to stay! You will get there - I know you will!

Happy Belated Birthday. And it is awesome that you did not have a drink on your birthday. Drinking heavily on your birthday is a tradition we could do without - having a day that is supposed to be memorable and then drinking until you forget it just sounds crazy!

LOL Zontar - we had a thread a while ago where we were talking about dancing naked in the moonlight when we were 'cured' so your post made me laugh!!!
