~Q~ Thanks for your comment about putting The Sinclair Method - pharmacological extinction - into understandable terms. This was - still is - a major challenge. I wish you well as you progress through treatment and am happy to answer any questions that may come up for you.

All the best - DrRoyEskapa

SpringerRider,

Do you notice that the Nal makes you more tired after you take it and drink? Last night I went to bed at 8pm -- the combination knocked me out.

Unfortunately, I also woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep until about 5am. Nal seems to interrupt my sleep some. In fact, I find this the hardest side effect to deal with at the moment.

Q

Yes exactly. At 8 PM, I can barley stay awake. I force myself to becuase if I turn in to early, I will re-awaken in the night and not get back to sleep.

Actually, if I drink only a little after the Nal, I am sleepy. If I drink more, I wake back up and may stay up until midnight and drink.

But something else is going on here and I will wait and tell it in another post for it seems to be real progress.

I don't get tired when I take it. I just feel a little wierd after about a half hour. Then it goes away after an hour. Then I don't feel anything.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get an appointment today with my PCP to ask for a prescription of Nal. I'll have to wait until Monday.

Do you have a stash to get you by? That is my fear that I will loose or run out and can't get anymore. Being the survivalist I am, I stock up. I have refills so I refill at the middle of the month and have gradually being able to stock up a little.
