And keep a journal/tick marks on your calendar of your drinks. It's key and definitely part of the SM. Cheers and good luck! :-))

For sure. I've kept a journal since day one and it seems to reflect alot of other people's around here. Pretty low numbers for the first several days and creeping up after that.

Nausea is pretty much gone, but I still feel the effects of Nal during the hour after I take the pill.

But yeah, keep you journal people. Crucial.

This is good Rock -- the honeymoon period is clear evidence naltrexone is working for you. You'll probably experience a renewed interest in drinking when the side effects wear off -- do not be alarmed, it's just part of the TSM roller coaster ride.

My best,

Nick

True that! I think i'm pretty much over the initial side effects stage and slipping back into my "normal" drinking habits. i.e drinking whatever is in the house until I pass out.

Feeling more optimistic about life though. Let's keep fighting people!

What will probably be different is that you won't act like a drunken fool after you drink all of the liquor in the house. You might even go to bed with your fly up.

I do seem to retain my composure after 10+ drinks a bit better than I used to. But what do I know, I'm a f***ing drunk!

Well for starters, you'll probably remember what you did the night before. I went from weekly blackouts pre-TSM to maybe two or three blackouts in the last four months. You'll also probably notice how idiotic others behave when trashed -- a good indication you are in more control than they are and than you used to be. Keep at it buddy, good things are ahead.
