Hello all, glad to find my way to this site and (hopefully) to freedom from the one and only true vice in my life. I'm very genetically inclined and believe that my problems with alcohol were exactly what is discussed under TSM; that is, that alcohol addiction is a genetic and learned. Fits me to a T.

Here's my problem...I approached my doctor about Nal and TSM and he basically wanted nothing to do with it because he had no experience in prescribing this medication. And I have otherwise been unsuccessful in finding any physician that can assist me into this program.

I truly believe this method is the solution...any suggestions on how to locate doctors that are willing to prescribe this? I'm not interested in traveling across the country, I just want to find someone locally that has a clue...I live in south Louisiana...

Any help that can be provided here is most appreciated. I look forward to continuing this interesting and exciting path. Thanks.

Where do you live? There's a thread that lists Dr.s by geographical area. We'll help you find someone. You need to decide whether you're going to "The River" which if I'm not mistaken, people endorse or your GP. I'm blessed through my wife's insurance so its cheap although I've since found out that I am probably no longer able to get life insurance.....Bastards....BEst to you and welcome and post often, Jim
