What if you take a Nal. around 10 a.m. in preparation for a drink with brunch. Then you have a couple drinks and stop. Then at dinnertime, you want a couple more drinks - do you have to take another Nal. or is the one from the morning still effective?

50 mg of nal. will last for 24 hours, so as long as you are taking the entire pill you should be fine; however, if you feel the strong desire to drink until the cows come home, some people do take a boaster of 1/4-1/2 of a pill, but it isn't necessary.

Susie - When i first started out I would always try to take a booster when I went to the beach or on the boat in the day time and was drinking and then had a big party to go to at night. I forgot where I read it but it made sense to me to do that. But since I am not drinking as much in the day time anymore, I will usually not take a booster unless it is over 10-12 hours since the first one and I am still having drinks.

I am with Jaba. A little booster is a good idea.
