I have ordered the book but will not get it until next week. My 1st day I took 50 mg and ended up with so much nausea,dizzy,shaky,confusion and just felt hugely drugged that I could not drink at all. 2nd day I took another 50 mg and after an hour drank 1 750 bottle of wine which I think is 9 Units. Woke up at 3AM with huge anxiety, very stressed and tense so I took 1/ a clonazepam pill to calm me. I see others took less in the beginning so the 3rd and 4th night I took 12.5 mg and have mostly nausea, that drugged feeling but have been super anxious tense to the point my muscles are hurtring,
So my question is so I need to keep taking Nal & drinking for 2 weeks before I have a AF day. I am feeling pretty sick again today and have not gone out of the house since my first day as I feel so bad.
Also will 12.5 mg work?

Cheeto, you can have an AF day whenever you feel like it or choose to. In the big picture, it really doesn't matter much. Per the protocol, you were supposed to start with 25mg, so the 50mg is a big "first day" dose. Those reactions are common side-effects, hopefully they don't happen every time or else TSM will be too miserable for you to be sustainable. Really, on average, 12.5mg of Naltrexone will not provide 100% of coverage to the appropriate neuroreceptors. If I were you, I'd go AF until I get the cravings back, and then start over with 25mg X 2-3 days before upping to 50mg.

Thank You Barry, Yes I was wondering if 12.5 mg was enough so I will do as you say maybe take some AF days and then up it to 25 mg and then after a few days try and up it to 50 mg.
